Continuing Medical Education

The SfN annual meeting is a forum for educating physicians in the neuroscience field.

By attending CME-designated lectures, symposia, and minisymposia, physicians gain a broad overview of the field and detailed information about recent research.

Access the CME Credit Reporting and Evaluation Site to log your credit hours and print a CME certificate.

The CME Supplemental Program is now available in PDF.

Overview

Statement of Need: Physicians must comprehend the basic science underlying clinical medicine —Neuroscience 2014 provides this opportunity. Physicians learn about up-to-date, cutting-edge neuroscience discoveries. They also gain more knowledge about desirable physician attributes, as dictated by the IOM, ACGME, and ABMS. See more information »

Global Learning Objective: Given a patient with a neurological or psychiatric condition, physicians will integrate the most up-to-date information and research to determine the best course of action in treating the patient.

Knowledge Gaps: The physician lacks knowledge of the most recent discoveries in the basic science that underlies clinical medicine.

Accreditation: SfN is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
