Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Overview

Thank you for attending Neuroscience 2019! Instructions on how to claim CME credits and print a certificate can be found here.

The SfN annual meeting is a forum for educating physicians in the neuroscience field. Learn more about SfN’s CME Mission (PDF).

A meeting attendee seeking CME credit may use a combination of the activities described below to claim a maximum of 35 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ at Neuroscience 2019.

Use the annual meeting mobile app and Neuroscience Meeting Planner (NMP) to keep track of your CME credits. Access the NMP to log your credit hours and print a CME certificate beginning on the first day of the annual meeting, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019.

The CME Supplemental Program is now available in PDF.

It is important that physicians comprehend the basic science that underlies clinical medicine. SfN’s annual meeting is the premier venue for this educational opportunity. Physicians learn about the most up-to-date, cutting-edge discoveries regarding the brain and nervous system. They also gain more knowledge about desirable physician attributes, as dictated by the IOM, ACGME, and ABMS.

Global Learning Objective: Physicians will integrate the most up-to-date information and research on the mechanism, treatment, and diagnosis of conditions related to neurological and psychiatric disorders into their diagnostic and therapeutic modalities of practice to determine the best treatment for the patient.

Accreditation: SfN is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
