Limited Neuroscience 2022 Programming Available Virtually
With the understanding that travel may be limited for various reasons, portions of the Neuroscience 2022 in-person programming will be available online for neuroscientists not traveling to San Diego, CA. The Neuroscience 2022 Virtual Component will include virtual posters, livestreaming of select sessions, and Q&A opportunities. Registration for the Virtual Component will be half the price of Neuroscience 2022 in-person registration in all member and non-member categories.
The Neuroscience 2022 Virtual Component offers a range of session types to virtual attendees. Up to 24 lectures will be streamed live from the San Diego Convention Center, and a recording will be available on demand after the session broadcast. Select symposia and minisymposia representing the scientific themes will also be available to view. Virtual attendees can participate in the live Q&A for each live-streamed lecture and symposia/minisymposia through the meeting mobile app.
Virtual posters will consist of a short video and a PowerPoint poster presentation. Virtual attendees can leave questions or comments for poster presenters, who will have the opportunity to log in and answer questions/comments at their convenience.
All Neuroscience 2022 abstract presenters will have the opportunity to present their poster in person, virtually, or both. Presentation choice must be indicated at the time of abstract submission, but any decision to switch from virtual to in person must be made by September 15, after which a poster cannot be guaranteed to be placed near the other posters in its poster session. To allow for circumstances that may prohibit travel to San Diego with very short notice, the deadline for switching from in person to virtual only is November 1. There will be a single abstract submission fee regardless of presentation format and no cost for switching.
