Attendee Services at #SfN26

Visit Attendee Services for assistance regarding ribbon pick-up, lost and found, travel award winner funds, SfN membership, Certificate of Attendance pick-up, housing support, and Wi-Fi, mobile app, and virtual component support.

SfN cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without prior notification of need.

  • Accessibility at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center

    The public sidewalks, surrounding the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, feature curb cuts for wheelchair access. Automatic doors are located at Mt. Vernon Place, L Street, North & South, and Metro entrances to the convention center. Elevators are conveniently located near meeting rooms, common areas, and in exhibit halls. Telephones, drinking fountains. and restrooms throughout the building are wheelchair accessible.

Child Care

On-site child care and youth programs are available for children ages six months to 12 years in room 204BC in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This service is provided through KiddieCorp, a national firm with more than 40 years of experience, including 16 with SfN, in on-site conference child care.

Details, pricing, and reservation information will be available on the KiddieCorp-Neuroscience 2026 web page (coming soon).

Individuals aged 17 and under will only be permitted to attend the annual meeting with adult supervision, and badges will not be issued to these individuals.

First Aid Services

There will be First Aid Stations conveniently located in Hall A and Hall D in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Please direct all inquiries to meetings@sfn.org

Infant Care Facilities

The infant care room, located in room 204A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, is designed to provide privacy for parents and guardians caring for infants. The room is equipped with chairs, tables, and electrical access in private areas for nursing or pumping. Additionally, the room has an open seating area, diaper changing tables, and a water cooler (room temperature). The room will be open Friday, November 13–Wednesday, November 18.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing their own infant care supplies. A limited number of lockers will be available for storing supplies. The infant care room is unsupervised. SfN is not responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur in this room, or any items left unattended.

Prayer/Quiet Room

There will be a prayer/quiet room available for attendee use in room 205 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The prayer/quiet room is unsupervised, and SfN is not responsible for the loss of any personal property left unattended in the room.

Shuttle Service

SfN provides complimentary shuttle services between the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and most official SfN meeting hotels, with the exception of hotels within walking distance to the convention center. Details about shuttle stop times and locations will be available at a later date.
