At Neuroscience 2014, more than $500,000 in prizes, grants, and travel awards were given to deserving recipients at all career levels who have advanced the field of neuroscience.
Awards are granted to neuroscientists who are working on research that expands knowledge of the brain and its functions, developing outreach programs that educate the public about neuroscience, or are undertaking mentoring efforts that cultivate achievement for the next generation of neuroscientists.
