Purpose

For the first time, SfN's annual meeting will offer a fully virtual meeting experience, making this event the most inclusive neuroscience event of 2021! To help spread the word about your participation at #SfN21, we’ve put together this social media toolkit complete with information and resources to push out and amplify Neuroscience 2021 via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. It is similar to a press kit for promoting a news item, but the audience is your social followers and colleagues.

Don’t forget to follow SfN on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on everything leading up to the main event.

How Can I Help?

  • Copy and paste the suggested social media posts, or develop your own customized posts to share out the content.
  • Add the #SfN21 hashtag to your social media posts, and engage with us via your personal or organizational accounts.
  • Follow the Society for Neuroscience on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn and share their content; be sure to use the #SfN21 hashtag!
  • Upload a photo to Instagram and caption it with one of the suggested captions. NOTE: Instagram does not support hyperlinks in captions. You must add the link into your Bio (Click “Edit Profile” to add a website URL). Then, direct your followers to the link by adding “Click the link in my bio to read all about it!” to your caption.
