SfN Announces New Editors-in-Chief for eNeuro and The Journal of Neuroscience

The Council of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has appointed editors-in-chief for its new online-only open access journal eNeuro and The Journal of Neuroscience. Christophe Bernard of INSERM in Marseilles, France will serve as the first editor-in-chief of eNeuro, effective May 1, and Dora Angelaki of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston will become the next editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroscience, effective January 1, 2015.
Nineteen candidates applied for one or both of the editor positions, an extremely robust applicant pool. The appointments were recommended by a search committee consisting of: Moses Chao, Chair; Holly Cline; Barry Everitt; David Fitzpatrick; and Eve Marder.
