Participate in the 2014 Brain Awareness Video Contest
Communicate your science to the public in a creative and engaging way by submitting a short, educational video about the brain to the 2014 Brain Awareness Video Contest. Submissions are due June 12.
As SfN President Carol Mason stated in her recent article on science communication, it is critical to educate and engage with the general public about neuroscience. In doing so, members can increase knowledge and understanding, inspire passion in the field, and encourage young people to pursue science-related careers.
Not feeling very artistic? Work with your institution's art department, a local primary school, or other community group to submit a video. Top videos will be featured on SfN.org, BrainFacts.org, and showcased at Neuroscience 2014.
