RSVP Now for Global Advocacy Panel at Neuroscience 2013
Recognizing the challenging funding environments around the globe, The Global Advocacy Committee of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and SfN will host a panel discussion at Neuroscience 2013 focusing on the importance of advocating for biomedical research funding. The featured guests will share information about their efforts to raise public awareness and encourage government support for neuroscience.
The panel will be hosted by SfN President Larry Swanson and Secretary-General of IBRO Sten Grillner, and moderated by David Kaplan, a member of SfN’s Government and Public Affairs Committee and the Advocacy Officer for the Canadian Association for Neuroscience. SfN members interested in starting or encouraging advocacy in their home country are invited to attend.
