Ronald Kalil
Ronald Kalil, 1941-2021, was among the first Ph.D. students to graduate from the Department of Psychology at M.I.T. (later, Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences). At the University of Wisconsin Madison, he established the Neuroscience Training Program, the Center for Neuroscience, and the Department of Neuroscience. He was also co-founder of the Neuroscience and Public Policy Program, one of the first of its kind in the United States. Ron fought hard to advance neuroscience.
