Attendee Resources

Attendee Services at #SfN25

Visit Attendee Services for assistance regarding ribbon pick-up, lost and found, travel award winner funds, SfN membership, Certificate of Attendance pick-up, housing support, and Wi-Fi, mobile app, and virtual component support.

ADA/Special Accommodations

  • Real-Time Captioning Services

    Real-time captioning services will be provided for all lectures in Ballroom 20. Dedicated seating areas near the screens will display the captioned text.


    Special Needs Requests

    If you require American Sign Language, CART transcription services, or have a disability or special need that may affect your participation in the annual meeting, contact meetings@sfn.org by Monday, September 15. SfN cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without prior notification of need.

    Reservations will be processed through the SfN customer service page or by calling (888) 441-7575. If contacting by phone, press option 1 to speak with a representative in the reservations department to place a rental order. Scootaround is located offsite and will be able to deliver to your hotel or to the San Diego Convention Center. 

  • Accessibility at the San Diego Convention Center

    Parking is available in the underground garage that is accessible from Harbor Drive. There are no in and out privileges. Overnight and RV parking are not permitted. Throughout the building you will find entrances, elevators, restrooms, and services that offer the accessibility that is required.

Child Care

Onsite child care and youth programs are available for children ages six months to 12 years in room 17B in the San Diego Convention Center. This service is provided through KiddieCorp, a national firm with more than 39 years of experience, including 15 with SfN, in on-site conference child care.

Registration and the KiddieCorp Children's Program consent form can be completed online.

Individuals aged 17 and under will only be permitted to attend the annual meeting with adult supervision, and badges will not be issued to these individuals.

First Aid Services

There will be a First Aid Station conveniently located in Box Office G in the San Diego Convention Center. Please direct all inquiries to meetings@sfn.org.

Infant Care Facilities

The infant care room, located in room 17A of the San Diego Convention Center, is designed to provide privacy for parents and guardians caring for infants. The room is equipped with chairs, tables, and electrical access in private areas for nursing or pumping. Additionally, the room has an open seating area, diaper changing tables, and a water cooler (room temperature). The room will be open Friday, November 14–Wednesday, November 19.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing their own infant care supplies. A limited number of lockers will be available for storing supplies. The infant care room is unsupervised. SfN is not responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur in this room, or any items left unattended.

There are private locking restrooms and Mothers Lounges in the San Diego Convention Center, please see locations below.

  • An inclusive and accessible restroom with two private single-occupancy rooms, each with a locking door and floor-to-ceiling walls, is in Lobby A.
  • Mothers Lounges are available in the women’s restrooms in Lobbies A and E.

Prayer Room

There will be a prayer room available for attendee use in room 18 in the San Diego Convention Center. The prayer room is unsupervised, and SfN is not responsible for the loss of any personal property left unattended in the room.

Shuttle Service

SfN provides complimentary shuttle services between the San Diego Convention Center and most official SfN meeting hotels, with the exception of hotels within walking distance to the convention center. Details about shuttle stop times and locations will be available at a later date.
