The $15,000 award, supported by Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions by a young neuroscientist who has demonstrated scholarly independence.

    The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) will present the Nemko Prize in Cellular or Molecular Neuroscience to William Allen, PhD and Ashley Lepack, PhD. Supported by the Nemko Family, The Nemko Prize recognizes young neuroscientists for their PhD thesis that advances the understanding of molecular, genetic, or cellular mechanisms underlying higher brain function and cognition.

    Society for Neuroscience Presents Lindsley Prize to Kiah Hardcastle and Christopher Zimmerman

    The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) will present the Donald B. Lindsley Prize to Kiah Hardcastle, PhD, and Christopher Zimmerman, PhD. Supported by an endowment from the Grass Foundation, the prize recognizes outstanding PhD theses in the area of general behavioral neuroscience. The $2,500 award was established in 1979 in honor of Donald B. Lindsley, an early trustee of the Grass Foundation.

    The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) will present the Jacob P. Waletzky Award to Lorenzo Leggio, MD, PhD, during SfN’s Awards Announcement Week 2020. The $30,000 prize, supported by the Swartz Foundation, honors an individual whose work has produced a significant cumulative contribution to theoretical models or computational methods in neuroscience or who has made a particularly noteworthy recent advance to the field.
