Symposia and Minisymposia Presenters Abbreviated Timeline
October 1 – October 25
Record a 15-minute (minisymposia) / 20-minute (symposia) presentation no later than October 25. The presentation length cannot exceed this time limit. Session chairs and co-chairs have the option to each record a brief (no more than 5-minute) introductory video as well. Schedule and complete your 15-minutes tech check. Review event policies and expectations, provide additional presentation and profile information through your personal task list.
November 3 – 7
All meeting attendees will have access to the virtual environment and be able to view your recording and leave questions. The goal is that attendees will watch your presentation in advance of the virtual experience and begin submitting questions for the live panel discussion.
Participate in a scheduled, one-hour live webinar-style virtual panel discussion for your (mini)symposium. During this live panel, the session chair and co-chair will provide a brief introduction of 5 minutes or less then each speaker would present a one-slide, 3-minute recap of their presentation. Then, the chair of the session would take questions from the audience and moderate the discussion among the panel.
The on-demand talks and a recording of the panel discussion will remain available on-demand until November 30, 2021.
