Are there therapeutic approaches that can reverse drug addiction/sensitization? Is incarceration an effective way to treat addiction? Is incarceration cost effective This Roundtable will explore current understandings of the neurobiology of drug addiction and how such knowledge has and should inform the development of treatments for drug addiction, development and implementation of public policy, and the function of the criminal justice system.
