Deadline Extended for Latin American Training Program Associates
SfN, with support from The Grass Foundation, is pleased to announce the launch of the Latin American Training Program. This comprehensive, yearlong online program provides a unique training opportunity for young investigators from across the Latin America and Caribbean region. Eligible candidates include late graduate students and early postdoctoral fellows.
The program will utilize distance education to train Associates in professional development and scientific topics in a community setting. Any citizen or permanent resident of Latin American or Caribbean countries currently enrolled in an advanced degree-granting program or postdoctoral fellowship in the region will be accepted as an Associate.
Although applications for Fellows to attend the in-person course in Queretaro, Mexico are now closed, applications for the Associates program will remain open until July 11 with an orientation webinar taking place in late July. Eligible candidates should submit their Curriculum Vitae, a letter of recommendation, and an essay detailing why they wish to participate and how the online training program will benefit their career.
