These features are one way that SfN is supporting its green commitment, while making annual meeting program information more accessible to attendees. Abstracts and scientific sessions are also searchable through the Neuroscience Meeting Planner and available as PDFs.
Mobile App
Access all the science at Neuroscience 2013 from your phone or tablet with the annual meeting mobile app. Download the free app from iTunes or Google Play before you arrive in San Diego in order to search online or off with ease. The new features of the app include an improved search function organized by sessions, authors, exhibitors, and abstracts; an improved browse function allows users to filter by session type or subtheme; and the ability to retrieve past searches with the new “history” feature.
The app also includes a schedule that is customizable and includes an alert for important events. Communicate with other attendees on social media about interesting lectures with one touch.
Neuroscience Meeting Planner
Abstracts and scientific sessions are also available through the Neuroscience Meeting Planner (NMP). Search the nearly 16,000 abstracts and use the NMP to create a customized schedule for your Neuroscience 2013 experience. This is also where the new curated itineraries can be found, which were developed to help attendees interested in select topics: advanced methods focused on the cortex; epilepsy; and plasticity. Each topical track includes related posters, lectures, socials, and symposia. You can download one or more of the itineraries to your online or mobile calendar.
