Leyla de Toledo-Morrell
Dr. Leyla de Toledo-Morrell was a leading figure in the field of Alzhiemer’s disease research. She was born August 6, 1941 in Istanbul, Turkey. She received a BA from McGill University, Montreal, a MA and PhD from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. She ended her career as Professor Neurological Sciences and Psychology at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL. Throughout her career she touched the lives of numerous scientists through collaborations, as a mentor, and as a friend.
