Leadership Development Program
Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who receive a Trainee Professional Development Award (TPDA) have the opportunity to join SfN’s year-long Leadership Development Program.
About
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a pilot initiative focused on building the skills, knowledge, and confidence in trainees so that they can effectively perform as leaders. Participants will be selected from the highest-ranking graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who receive a TPDA in the LDP program year.
The LDP will include a two-and-a-half day in-person conference held in Washington, D.C. (in early 2020), monthly distance learning, and additional funding to cover costs of supplemental training opportunities.
The LDP is made possible through generous support from the Society for Neuroscience and The Dana Foundation.
