Membership & Chapters Committee Chair, Dr. Timothy McClintock presented 2007 Next Generation Award winners Hirofumi Watari, Jonathan Ting, Bryan White, and Kyle Frantz with their honorary plaques during the 2007 Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. Dr. Ting, Mr. Watari, and Mr. White of the Pacific Cascade Chapter were the Predoctural/Postdoctoral Team winners. Dr. Frantz of the Atlanta Area Neuroscience Chapter was the Junior Faculty recipient.

The Society for Neuroscience has more than 100 regional chapters in North America and an expanding number of international chapters. With activities ranging from lectures to networking events and information sharing, SfN chapters enable
individual members to engage their colleagues on the local level. Chapters also serve as an important resource to their community by taking a leading role in the annual Brain Awareness Campaign.

Turkey Chapter
Graduate Student Summer Program, 10th grade neuroscience course, and big screen neuroscience movie viewings.
The Turkey Chapter has been actively engaged in student outreach through the sponsorship of a 5-day International Graduate Summer School program in correspondence with Ege University.
