Share your neuroscience research by presenting an abstract at SfN's annual meeting.

Abstract Submission is Now Closed

Log-in to view your abstract or to print your receipt.  If you wish to withdraw your abstract or are unable to attend Neuroscience 2012, please e-mail program@sfn.org as soon as possible.  To ensure your abstract submission is withdrawn from the printed program, please notify SfN by May 21.  

SfN received over 16,000 abstract submissions in 2011.

Register for the Meeting to Present
Your Abstract

First authors are expected to register for Neuroscience 2012 and present their abstracts in a poster session or nanosymposium.  If the first author cannot attend, presentation by a co-author is acceptable.  If no one can present, e-mail program@sfn.org immediately to either mark your abstract as "Unable to Attend" (abstract and author block will remain listed in the online Neuroscience Meeting Planner) or "Withdrawn" (abstract and author block will be removed from the Neuroscience Meeting Planner).

Theme H Poster Format
For those presenting a Theme H abstract (History, Teaching, Public Awareness, and Societal Impacts in Neuroscience), please note that Theme H Posters will encompass three sessions on the poster floor: Saturday p.m., Sunday a.m., and Sunday p.m.  Posters should remain on display for these three sessions for casual viewing and be removed at the end of the afternoon session on Sunday.

Embargo Policy
Under the Society's Embargo Policy, information from scientific presentations is embargoed until after the time of presentation. Information from news releases is embargoed until after the time of a press conference. Information from lay-language summaries is embargoed until after the time of  a presentation.
