Best Practices for Protecting Researchers and Research

Best Practices for Protecting Researchers and Research recommends specific and proactive steps that research institutions can take to protect academic researchers who face harassment and attack by fringe anti-research extremists, while still advancing scientific knowledge and medical progress.

Members are encouraged to use Best Practices and the resources listed below to start conversations with university leadership. SfN staff and volunteer leaders stand ready to assist members to prepare for those meetings. Contact SfN's Government and Public Affairs department for assistance or to report on a meeting with your institutional administration.
