Programs to promote women in neuroscience are maganged by the Professional Development Committee (PDC) and its Women in Neuroscience Subcommittee (WINS).

Programs and Activities

  • Travel and Achievement Awards - These awards support neuroscientists and their achievements. See right column on this page.

  • Mentoring - The SfN mentoring program pairs experienced professionals with students and young professionals. The program is currently centered around the SfN annual meeting.
  • "A Celebration of Women in Neuroscience" Luncheon - A yearly luncheon at SfN's annual meeting featuring a notable woman neuroscientist guest speaker.
