Committees

SfN relies on the services and talents of volunteer committee members to provide expertise, develop and oversee projects, and to help Council and SfN staff effectively represent the needs of Society members. Committee terms are one year and offically begin at SfN's annual meeting.

Committee Clusters
To increase communication and coordination efforts, some committes are grouped into clusters. Each cluster is coordinated by a steering group of committee chairs and guided by a charter provided by Council (under development).

Clusters are as follows:

Committe Nominations
Nominations for committee replacements are now closed. SfN will contact committee members selected for terms beginning at Neuroscience 2009 in late spring/early summer.

Request a Volunteer Service Letter
Request a letter documenting your service as a SfN volunteer. Service includes time spent as a committee member, Brain Awareness Week volunteer, and volunteering in other capacities.
