Professional Development Awards are presented to deserving trainees who demonstrate scientific merit and excellence in their research.

Professional Development Awards:

 

Science Journalism Student Award

Helps science journalism students cover costs associated with attending the Society's annual meeting.

Trainee Professional Development Awards

Provides trainees the opportunity to advance their careers by presenting a scientific abstract and networking with senior scientists at the SfN annual meeting.

 

Undergraduate Brain Awareness Travel Award

Financial support for undergraduate students involved in neuroscience outreach activities to travel to SfN's annual meeting.

 

International Travel Awards:

FENS Forum Travel Awards

Supports the participation of graduate students who have reached PhD candidacy and postdoctoral fellows at the FENS Forum.

 

IBRO World Congress Travel Awards

Supports the participation of graduate students who have reached PhD candidacy and postdoctoral fellows at the IBRO World Congress.

 

JNS Meeting Travel Awards

Supports the participation of graduate students who have reached PhD candidacy and postdoctoral fellows at the Japan Neuroscience Society annual meeting.

 

International Travel Awards to SfN Annual Meeting:

FENS Member Travel Awards to SfN Annual Meeting

Supports trainee members of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) to the SfN annual meeting bi-annually.

IBRO Member Travel Awards to SfN Annual Meeting

Supports participation of promising young neuroscientists from lower and middle-income countries at SfN's annual meeting.

 

JNS Member Travel Awards to SfN Annual Meeting

Supports trainee members of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) to the SfN annual meeting annually.
