The Society's official housing company is Convention Management Resources (CMR). SfN has contracted an adequate number of hotel rooms in Washington, DC for Neuroscience 2008. The number of hotel rooms is based on historical usage in combination with expected growth. SfN will add additional hotels if necessary.

Confirmation, Changes, and Cancellations
- If you submit a housing request by phone, mail, or fax and do not receive confirmation within seven business days, contact SfN Housing at SfN2008Housing@cmrus.com to follow up and avoid no-show charges.
- If you cancel your plans to attend Neuroscience 2008, cancel your meeting registration and hotel reservation as quickly as possible. If a reservation is properly canceled, another registrant may use the room.
- You may change or cancel hotel reservations online until Oct. 17.
- You will need your last name as it appears on your registration confirmation and your registration confirmation number to access the housing Web site. The housing Web site requires a last name as it appears on the original reservation confirmation, SfN Housing hotel confirmation number, and the zip or postal code provided when making the reservation. After changing or canceling your reservation, you will receive an updated SfN hotel confirmation.
- To change or cancel by phone, fax, or mail, do so through SfN Housing until 72 hours prior to arrival; SfN must receive mailed forms by this date. When calling, note of the name of the person you speak with and request a revised confirmation or cancellation notice.
- Confirmations issued by SfN Housing are honored by all hotels in the SfN block. Check that arrival and departure dates are accurate on your hotel confirmation. [NOTE: If you do not arrive at the hotel on the confirmed date, the hotel will resell your room and you will be charged the amount equal to one night's room charge, plus sales and occupancy tax. Hotels may also charge an early departure fee, so reconfirm departure date upon check-in].
- Hotel cancellation policies can vary. Verify the cancellation policy, printed at the bottom on your SfN hotel confirmation.
