SfN has taken steps to ease costs associated with housing at Neuroscience 2008. The Roommate Matching Forum provides an electronic meeting space where student and category I & II members can arrange shared lodging.
Instructions
To participate in the Roommate Matching Forum, review the following instructions:
- Access the online Roommate Matching Forum. Click on the "Register" option in the blue menu bar. (Note: You must provide a valid e-mail address).
- You will receive an e-mail titled “Action Required to Activate Membership for the Society for Neuroscience Forums” from support@sfn.org. Follow the instructions to confirm your registration.
- After confirming, you can read and post threads in the forum. Bookmark the forum page for future reference.
Policies and Tips
All users are responsible for adhering to the policies in the Roommate Matching Forum disclaimer and code of conduct.
SfN also encourages participants to read the thread, “Things to think about when searching for a roommate.” This post will help guide you while interacting with potential roommates.
Make sure to watch for additional threads from the forum moderator.
