The Society has contracted an adequate number of hotel rooms in San Diego, CA for Neuroscience 2007. The number of hotel rooms is based on historical usage in combination with a historical growth factor.
- Hotels are listed by area and in order of descending rates.
- The San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina and the Manchester Grand Hyatt are the official co-headquarters hotels.
- The numbered circles on the maps correspond to the numbers assigned to the hotels listed below.
- Hotels 35-48 are student and member category I & II hotels.
- Shuttle service/walkable distance is indicated by "S" for "shuttle service provided" and "W" for "walkable."
Current sales and occupancy taxes total 10.5% per room, per night. Hotel rates include a nominal $10 fee to help defray the cost of the shuttle services, which will be provided to and from most of the hotels throughout the day.
